The Turkish Advanced Manifest Rule is similar to rules already in place on for example US trades and intends to risk assess any shipments to or via Turkey. Ocean carriers have to submit the summary declaration to the Customs administration 28 hours before the vessel  starts operations  in the port of loading.

To comply with this rule, shippers are required to submit correct and complete shipping instructions to the carrier before the AMS closing mentioned on your booking confirmation. In order to enable the shipping company to process all shipping instructions correctly and in time the AMS closing will be set 48 hours – 2 working days – before the deadline the carrier has to submit the summary declaration.

The same regulation will be valid for shipments of empty containers e.g. empty cleaned tankcontainers.
There will be dual filing for NVOCC cargo.  All NVOCC have the possibility to register cargo with Turkish Customs their selves, which has to be stated  clearly on the shipping instructions.

The implementation of the Advanced Manifest requests a substantial increase of costs to the shipping companies for the adaptation/reorganization of the Documentation Dept. worldwide to the new Rules.

Dans les cinq prochaines années, certains produits industriels seront détaxés des droits d’importation.  La plupart des autres marchandises (à l’exception de certains produits agricoles) le seront dans les 7 années à venir.

Les exportateurs de l’UE doivent introduire une demande d’exportateur agréé auprès des autorités douanières et mentionner ce numéro lors de l’exportation.  Cette déclaration d’origine permettra aux importateurs coréens destinataires de bénéficier de tarifs d’importation réduits.  A l’inverse, les importateurs de l’UE doivent s’assurer que leurs homologues coréens ont procédé aux déclarations d’origine nécessaires afin qu’ils puissent eux aussi bénéficier des baisses sur les taux des droits d’importation dans l’UE.
